This year
Good Friday is on the 29th of March and Easter Sunday is on the 31st
of March 2013.
Traditionally
an egg is given as a gift at Easter to symbolise new life and the resurrection
of Jesus Christ. The first Easter egg gifts were bird eggs which were painted
in bright colours and given as gifts during the Easter festival.
During the 20th
century the bird eggs were replaced with the chocolate eggs we now know and
love to give our children at Easter.
Approximately
80 million chocolate Easter eggs are consumed each year in Britain and, with
growing concerns that our children are eating too much chocolate, parents are
now looking to find alternative gifts to give at Easter.
With this in
mind we have come up with a range of special Personalised Easter Gifts which make a great alternative to the usual chocolate
Easter Eggs.
We also have
a range of matching Personalised Easter Cards
to go with our gifts.
Many of our
Easter gifts are suitable for adults so why not get your Mum, Sister or Best
Friend a special Easter Gift this year!
